Our owner, Terry Taylor, serves as Chairman of the Board for Lunches for Learning.

 

Lunches for Learning is an organization with the goal of stopping poverty in rural Honduras by way of a healthy and daily lunch for elementary school students there.

 

We take it for granted in America, but even just helping these children complete the sixth grade to become literate adults goes a long way in Honduras. Much of the population earns less than $2 per day. These types of statistics are eye-opening and also heartbreaking.

 

We are visiting the students this month as November is graduation time there but that’s not all. We can do more.
